Seeing the massive success of first season of BiggBoss Hindi, the show launched its many versions of Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, etc. Among these versions, BiggBoss Telugu has achieved remarkable fan ratings and has turned out to be a massive hit.
About the show
Premiered on 16th July 2017 for the very first time, this show has set the bars very high in the Telugu reality shows industry. It gained a massive response for its debut season and since then it has never looked back. The show has launched its 4 successful seasons till now and is all set to launch its 5th season of BiggBoss Telugu. This season will also extend a chance to the commoners to be a competitor in this shoe.
The 5th season will also have 19 housemates who will compete for 100-110 long days in the BiggBoss house. The host for this season is expected to be among Samantha Akkineni or Nagarjuna Akkineni. The winning cash prize set is 50,00,000 INR. The starting dates have not been announced yet but is expected to be released soon.
The auditions and registrations have started for the BiggBoss Telugu season 5. The auditions would be conducted in a two-step selection process. Firstly, the registrations will be screened out to filter out the most probable candidates and then as per their performances in the audition video, the ultimate candidate will be selected.
Eligibility Requirements
- The age of the candidate should be at least above 18 years.
- Only Indian citizens with proper residential identity proof will be considered and accepted forward.
- The candidates are required to make a 3-minute video that will be used as an audition video. This audition video should be below 50 MB and the duration should not exceed further 180 seconds/3 minutes. The audition video should represent your major skills and highlighting talents or information about you.

- To begin your registration, visit https://www.voot.com/BiggBoss or you can also download the VOOT App from Google PlayStore or IOS store and register from there.
- Enter the details in the registration form correctly which will involve details like – Name; A valid email address; Your permanent address; City; State; Pin code; Contact Number (Update correct number); Birthdate (For Age Consideration); Gender; Height; Weight; Reason for being in the show (Have a solid reason to impress the panel) and Your social profiles.
- Attach and Upload the audition video of 3 minutes in the section mentioned.
- Read the declaration and its policies carefully and revise your form to check all your details. Once you are sure with the details, click “Submit” and your registration will be submitted.
Once you are registered, you will be in their records. Your registration will undergo the selection process and you will be notified through mail or number if you get selected.
