Hindustan is hosting ‘Singing Rock Star’ to bring the talented singers into light. It is one of the biggest virtual talent hunt and a prestigious platform for the passionate singers. The euphonious singer Kailash Kher will judge the finalists. The platform combines formal judging and people’s choice to curate best talent of India. The objective of show is to create inspiration for the devoted singers.
Winners will get a chance to show case their talent at a live performance with a renowned Bollywood singer at a musical concert organized by Hindustan Times Group. The runner-ups will get a chance to participate in jamming session on Fever 104 FM.
The show is inviting the entire budding singer across the country to show case their talent in front of the nation. For the dedicated ingenious voices singing Rock Star is door to stardom.
The online singing competition has called upon the confident and committed singers for registration that has opened from 10th August 2020. On the basis of age limit the competition has categorized the participation into senior and juniors groups. Hindusatn Singing Rockstar badge for seniors (18 years and above) and Junior RockStar badge for juniors (12 to 18 years).
Singing Rock Star Online Registration Process
The process to register for the competition is very simple. The interested singers have to select a Bollywood song from a shortlisted list of some selected popular songs which will be made available on the Microsite and on BookMyShow. They have to create a video recording of their singing without back ground music and submit it via Whatsapp or Youtube.
All the entries received will be screened by a jury comprising of experts from popular singer Kailash Kher’s team and RJs from Fever 104 FM. The top 50 shortlisted contestants in both the categories will graduate to audition phase. From among 50, the best ten singers will be sieved as finalist and will make it to grand finale, where they will be adjudged by Sir Kailash Kher. The event will live stream on Youtube and Facebook.
To applaud singer’s endeavor Singing Rock Star is proudly rewarding a handsome amount of money. Rs 50,000 for the winner of Singing Rock Star category and Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 for the first and second runner up respectively. The people’s choice award which will be selected after the voting process by the audience and the winner will be gifted Rs 10, 000.
The Junior Rock star winner will get Rs 21, 000, while the first and second runner-up will get Rs 15, 000 and Rs 11, 000 respectively. The people’s choice award will get Rs 10, 000.
