Zee TV’s one of the most popular shows is Dance India Dance. The show is in its 6th season and all the finalists are declared. They will fight for the trophy and prize money of the show which is 50 Lakh. Here we will talk about the winners of all seasons of Dance India Dance. The show is produced by one of the most renowned production houses in India, Essel Vision Productions.

The show is famous for providing amazing talent to the entertainment industry. After the completion of audition, the top 18 dancers are chosen for the show. There are a lot of dance forms which we can see in this show like Classical, Bollywood, Contemporary,  Jazz, Hip-hop, Salsa, and Kalaripayattu. The show has already won a lot of awards as the most popular dancing reality show in India.

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 1: Salman Yusuf Khan

The first season of the show was won by none other than the very talented Salman Yusuf Khan. He was in the team ‘Remo Ke Rangeelay’. The runner-up of the season was Alisha Singh from the team ‘Terrence Ki Toli’. The show was hosted by Jay Bhanushali and Saumya Tandon and the judges were Mithun Chakraborty, Remo D’Souza, Terence Lewis, and Geeta Kapoor. After getting success from the show, Salman did his debut movie ABCD (Any Body Can Dance).

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 2: Shakti Mohan

The second season of the show saw the rise of Shakti Mohan as the winner from ‘Terence Ki Toli’. This time the runner-up was from ‘Geeta Ki Gang’, Dharmesh Yelende. The judges of the show were Mithun Chakraborty, Remo D’Souza, Terence Lewis, and Geeta Kapoor and the hosts were also the same Jay Bhanushali and Saumya Tandon. Shakti got huge popularity after winning the show and was seen in many item songs of Bollywood after that like Kambal Ke Niche and Aa Re Pritam Pyare. She was also seen in the movie ‘Tees Mar Khan’.

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 3: Rajasmita Kar

Orissa girl Rajasmita Kar won the third season of the show. She was from ‘Geeta Ki Gang’. The runner- up Pradeep Gurung was from ‘Terence Ki Toli’. Before participating in Dance India Dance, Rajasmita also participated in a dancing reality show, Jhum Odisha Jhum. She became the winner of the season by getting record number of votes. Rajsmita’s only dream is to open a dance institute in Orissa. The season was also judged by the same judges Mithun Chakraborty, Remo D’Souza, Terence Lewis, and Geeta Kapoor and the hosts were also the same Jay Bhanushali and Saumya Tandon.

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 4: Shyam Yadav

The winner of the 4th season of the show was Shyam Yadav from ‘Mudassar Ki Mandali’. The runner-up was Manan Sachdev from ‘Shruti Ke Shandar’. After winning the show, Shyam was seen in several Bollywood songs like character dhila, dhinka chika, pandeyji ceeti, humko peeni hai, and party all night. The judges for the 4th season were Mithun Chakraborty, Mudassar Khan, Shruti Merchant, and Feroz Khan. The hosts of the show were Jay Bhanushali and Ishita Sharma.

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 5: Proneeta Swargiary

This time the winner was Proneeta Swargiary from the team Punit Ke Panthers. She is one of the most talented dancers today with a training in kathak. Her dream is to become a famous choreographer one day. This season was hosted by Jay Bhanushali and the judges were Mithun Chakraborty, Mudassar Khan, Punit Pathak, and Gaiti Siddiqui.

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 6: Sanket Gaonkar

Congratulations! Karnataka’s Sanket Gaonkar wins Dance India Dance Season 6…The DID winner of the sixth season is Karnataka’s Sanket Gaonkar. The finalists of this season are Piyush Gurbhele (Mini Ke Masterblasters), Nainika Anasuru (Mini Ke Masterblasters), Shivam Wankhede (Mudassar Ki Mandali), Sanket Gaonkar (Mini Ke Masterblasters), Sachin Sharma (Marzi Ke Mastane) and Sujan Marpa . They all are very talented son anybody can win the show this time. The hosts for the 6th season are Amruta Khanvilkar and Sahil Khattar. The judges who are also the mentors of the candidates are Mithun Chakraborty, Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestonji, and Mini Pradhan.

Dance India Dance (DID) Season 7 – Unreal Crew (North Ke Nawabs)

DID Season 7 or Dance India Dance Battle of the Champions being aired from 22nd June 2019 and grand finale held on 29th September 2019. This season brought a new and unique concept. The judges of this season were Kareena Kapoor Khan; Bosco Martis; Raftaar; along with Malaika Arora and Karishma Kapoor (who were guest judges for few episodes). This amazing season of DID won by Unreal Crew from the team of North Ke Nawab and the runner-up was I Am Hip-Hop from the South Ke Thalaivas.
