American Ninja Warrior is a sports entertainment reality tv show based on the Japanese television series ‘Sasuke’.
It follows thousands of contestants as they strive to finish a series of increasingly challenging obstacle courses in cities around the United States in the hopes of advancing to the finals and being crowned as the one and only “American Ninja Warrior” for the season.
