How Belleza Latina Winners are Determined

Ok, you’re desperate to see the winners, but here’s how the winners are picked!

Nuestra Belleza Latina contestants reside in a home together in Miami, Florida, and compete in weekly challenges and tasks to earn the Nuestra Belleza Latina title. Contestants remain there unless voted out.

These can include physical fitness, trivia, catwalk, speaking, dance and other related tasks which the finalists receive training in, set by the hosts for the viewing public pleasure.

This is before the judges and audience casts a vote for who is eliminated by receiving fewest votes.

Each week, the watching audience chooses and votes for their favorite contestant and competitor – one of the other contestants is removed.

Among other things, the winner gets a year-long television presenting contract with Univision Communications INC.

Finalists and the winner receives training and past winners also won a cash prize, as well as various prizes like contracts for TV.

The contestants are Hispanic and Latino Americans who are either citizens of the United States or permanent residents.
