Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most loved reality shows in India after Bigg Boss. The show has already completed 11 seasons successfully and now the makers are all set to launch its next season i.e. Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 12 (2020). Just like the previous seasons, we again witness superstar Amitabh Bachchan as the host of the KBC 12.
The show is based on Questions & Answers concept where the host asks a number of questions based on different niches, current affairs, and general knowledge, and for every correct answer, the contestants win a specific cash prize. Recently, Sony TV Entertainment announces that the registration process for KBC Season 12 will begin very soon.

Eligibility Criteria for KBC Season 12
In order to participate in this amazing reality show, one has to fulfill some criteria, so if you are interested to enroll for the same, check below the eligibility criteria –
- The aspirant should be an Indian citizen
- The participant should not have any criminal background
- The contestant must be 18 years old at the time of enrolling for the show.
- The contestant must be recognized as a citizen under the Act 1961 of Income Tax.
- The aspirant must not possess any illness

Registration for KBC Season 12 starts 9th May onward…..
The registration process will be completely online and will start on 9th May 2020 at 21:00 IST, which will be continued till 21st May 2020. Like the previous seasons, Bollywood legend and the host of the show Amitabh Bachchan will ask questions every day on Sony TV and then the makers will call the selected contestants who have given the right answers for an interview. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, this year, the interview will be conducted online only.
One can answer the questions via Sony LIV mobile app which is available on iOS and Google Play as well. Follow the steps mentioned below to participate in the show via an app –
- First, download the SonyLIV app (free of cost) from the iOS or Android application store.
- Enter your email address and mobile number. Please note to enter Indian mobile number where we will be able to get in touch with you.
- Select your age from the options given and make sure you are 18 years old as on May 01, 2020.
- Choose gender between Male, Female, and Others
- Select your education between Graduate and Non-Graduate
- Select your occupation as per the options given such as Professional, Salaried, Businessman/Trader, Student,
Farmer and Others. - Select your zone as per the options
– Mumbai, Delhi
– Gujarat, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli
– Rest of Maharashtra (except Mumbai), Goa
– Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir & Rajasthan
– Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh- Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar & Jharkhand
– West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Sikkim & North East
– Rest of India - Select your answer option (A/B/C/ D) for the question to complete the registration process.
Once you have submitted the answers to all the questions, you will get see a confirmation screen confirming
the registration.
